Job summary

Learning Care Group in Akron, OH is seeking a Bus Driver to safely transport children and staff for field trips, daily routes, and special events. You will help maintain vehicle safety and follow state regulations while delivering a caring, educational transportation experience.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with benefits, tuition assistance, and opportunities to grow within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license.
• Have and maintain a safe and violation free driving record.
• Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work.
• Experience working with children.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Responsible! Ensure each child's safety by maintaining vehicle functionality regularly and implementing safety procedures with their school Director.
• Team player! The Driver may step into a Teacherrole or assist in other capacities as needed.

The Child Care Center Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting children and staff on field trips, to and from school, and other locations. The Driver ensures that the bus is regularly maintained and safe for driving under all applicable state and municipal regulations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation range of $16.22-$16.85 based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options
• Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) provided for full-time employees, Limited medical offered for part-time workers
• Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification, 401K (plus company match), life and disability insurance and child care discount available to all employees
