Job summary

Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI seeks a bus operator to transport students and passengers on designated routes. You will conduct pre-trip inspections, drive to stops, and ensure timely arrivals.

Responsibilities include reporting DOT incidents, maintaining cleanliness, fuel levels, and assisting with maintenance during breaks. CDL with passenger endorsement and medical certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience working in commercial driving or related experience.
• Current/valid class A or B commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement.
• Current/valid medical certification.
• Ability to communicate, read and write proficiently in English.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Interview process requires satisfactory completion of DOT road test, review of previous employment records, and pre-employment drug test.
