Lakeview Village in Lenexa, KS is seeking a full-time Bus Driver to provide safe and timely transportation for residents on and off campus.

Required are a Class B or C CDL with passenger endorsement, CPR certification, and a High School Diploma or GED; strong communication and safety focus are essential for serving elderly residents and working with a team.

We have an opening for a full-time Bus Driver.

Pay $15/hr and up, based on experience

Lakeview Bus Drivers are responsible for provides safe and timely on-campus and off-campus transportation assistance to Lakeview residents. Assists other staff members for resident/community events as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have at least a Class B or Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsements, or be willing to obtain one; must maintain all legal requirements for keeping a valid CDL.
• Must have current CPR certification.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Demonstrates good communications skills, including but not limited to effective reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills, with a fluent understanding of English.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks appropriately, and exercise sound judgement where procedures cannot be standardized.
• Must demonstrate excellent safety judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to administer and follow straightforward written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to interpret bus schedules.
• Ability to learn the mechanics of a bus.
• Possesses an empathetic approach to the elderly.
• Able to work in a team setting with residents, relatives, staff, and others.
