Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional diesel mechanic experience, preferably on buses or heavy-duty vehicles.
• Own basic shop tools; company provides specialty tools.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record; CDL eligibility supported by the employer.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and coach components.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, and brakes.
• Maintain accurate service records and safety compliance.
• Communicate with drivers and maintenance staff about repair timelines.
• Stay updated on diesel technologies and repair techniques.
