• Strong knowledge of student accounts, accounts receivable, billing, collections, and reconciliation practices.
• Understanding of internal controls and financial transaction management.
• Knowledge of higher education financial and regulatory requirements.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Ability to analyze financial data, receivable trends, aging, and performance.
• Leadership, coaching, and staff-development skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain policies, procedures, workflows, and controls.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and Office applications.
• Ability to utilize student information systems and reporting tools.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee student account activity including billing, payments, credits, refunds, stipends, and third‑party payments.
• Ensure accounts reflect enrollment, charges, financial aid, scholarships, and adjustments.
• Conduct ledger reviews and audits to identify discrepancies and issues.
• Coordinate billing with academic calendars and aid disbursement schedules.
• Oversee payment plans and ensure documentation and monitoring.
• Process refunds and stipends accurately and timely.
