Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish Burn and Reconstructive Center is recruiting a full-time PA or NP to join the Burn, Hand, and Plastic Reconstructive Surgery hospital-based team in the Denver area.

The role involves evaluating and managing adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced hospital setting, providing surgical assistance, and coordinating care with surgeons in burn, plastic reconstructive, and hand surgery services.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a practicing PA or NP is required.
• Inpatient and surgical experience as an APP is preferred.
• Ability to treat adult and pediatric populations.
• Ability to assist in necessary surgeries.
• APP function: Assist in Burn Surgery, Plastic Reconstructive Surgery, and Hand Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients in hospital-based settings, independently and with surgeons.
• Manage inpatient care and Burn ICU.
• See new consults, ER consults, and post-operative patients.
• Assist and perform surgeries when scheduled.
