Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. seeks a Buried Drop Technician to install buried copper, fiber, and coaxial drops from the hub to customers’ homes. Overnight travel may be required based on business needs. You will connect the network to residences and promote Kinetic services.

The role requires basic technical skills, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. This is a safety-sensitive position with potential overtime and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Basic technical and math skills.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT physical.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel overnight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform the physical installation of buried copper, fiber, and coaxial drop cable from the network hub to the customer residence.
• Use technical knowledge and customer focus to establish reliable connections.
• Interpret work drawings and complete required paperwork.
• Promote and upsell Kinetic products and services.
• Train new employees on daily job functions.
