Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking Restaurant Assistant Managers (RAM) to join our team. Our restaurants are staffed with dedicated, talented individuals, and we are looking to expand our team. The RAM supports the Restaurant General Manager in developing a team, delivering excellent guest experiences, and achieving sales targets. This role involves learning, managing, and teaching restaurant systems to meet goals, develop staff, and provide outstanding service. RAMs are eligible for bonuses based on operational and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure outstanding service and guest satisfaction
  • Train and coach team members
  • Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to manage daily restaurant operations
  • Implement controls related to cash and inventory
  • Set and achieve goals for service quality, operations, and financial results
  • Maintain operational standards including service speed, food safety, and cleanliness
  • Manage food and labor variances, taking corrective actions as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Work flexible shifts as required
  • Demonstrate proficiency in restaurant operations and serve as a role model
  • Provide feedback and coaching to staff
  • Apply problem-solving skills effectively
  • Follow all relevant laws, policies, and controls
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant General Manager
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching
  • Work in varying temperatures
  • Stand for 8-10 hours
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
Job Requirements
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in restaurant or retail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume environment
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
  • ServSafe certification preferred
