Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager

Overview

We are seeking Restaurant Assistant Managers (RAM) to join our team. Our restaurants are staffed with talented individuals, and we aim to expand our team. The RAM supports the Restaurant General Manager in developing a dedicated team, delivering excellent guest experiences, and achieving top-line sales. This role involves learning, managing, and teaching restaurant systems to meet goals, develop staff, and ensure outstanding service. RAMs are eligible for performance-based bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure exceptional service and guest satisfaction
• Train and coach team members
• Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems for daily restaurant operations
• Implement controls for cash and inventory management
• Set and achieve goals related to service, operations, and finances
• Maintain operational standards including speed, food safety, and cleanliness
• Monitor and improve food and labor variances
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work all shifts as required
• Demonstrate proficiency in restaurant operations and serve as a role model
• Provide feedback and coaching to staff
• Apply problem-solving skills effectively
• Follow all regulations, laws, and policies, including accounting controls
• Perform other duties as assigned by the RGM

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching
• Work in warm and cold temperatures
• Stand for 8-10 hours
• Lift up to 20 lbs

Job Requirements

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume environment
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
• ServSafe certification preferred
