Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager

Overview

We are seeking Restaurant Assistant Managers (RAM) to join our team. Our restaurants are staffed with talented individuals, and we are looking to expand our team. The RAM supports the Restaurant General Manager in developing a dedicated team, delivering excellent guest experiences, and achieving top-line sales. This role involves learning, managing, and teaching restaurant systems effectively to meet goals, develop staff, and ensure excellent service. RAMs are eligible for bonuses based on operational and financial performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure your team provides outstanding service and satisfies guests
• Train and coach team members
• Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to operate efficiently every shift
• Implement restaurant controls, including cash and inventory management
• Set and achieve restaurant goals for service, operations, and financial results
• Maintain operational standards such as speed of service, food safety, and cleanliness
• Monitor food and labor variances and take corrective actions
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work all shifts as required
• Lead by example with high proficiency in restaurant operations
• Provide feedback and coaching to staff
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills
• Follow all regulations, laws, and policies, including food safety and accounting controls
• Perform other duties as assigned by the RGM

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching
• Work in warm and cold temperatures
• Stand for 8-10 hours
• Lift up to 20 lbs

Job Requirements

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in restaurant or retail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
• ServSafe certification preferred
