Job summary

Watco is hiring a Laborer in Houston to support terminal, vessel, and warehouse operations. The role involves loading, unloading, material handling, and basic maintenance, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 A.M.–5:00 P.M., with occasional overtime and weekend work. Location is 14035 Industrial Rd., Houston, TX 77015.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as part of a team and follow directions.
• Regular attendance and dependable performance required.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.
• Read, write, and communicate in English; perform basic math and follow instructions.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including days/nights, overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily terminal, vessel, and warehouse operations.
• Communicates with superintendents and management to determine staffing needs and priorities.
• Operate and maintain equipment for safe material transfer between silos, railcars, barges, and vessels.
• Facilitates communication among drivers, warehouse teams, and management using radio/digital systems.
• Adheres to SOPs, PPE policies, and safety and environmental regulations.
