Job summary

Watco in Houston, TX is seeking a Laborer to support terminal, vessel and warehouse operations. Starting pay is $17 per hour, with 8- to 12-hour shifts and availability to work 7 days a week if needed.

The role includes loading, unloading, material handling and basic maintenance while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will operate equipment for the safe transfer of materials between silos, railcars, barges, and vessels, follow SOPs and PPE policies, and communicate with supervisors

Job Summary

Starting Pay: $17 per hour, depending on experienceLocation: 14035 Industrial Road, Houston, TX 77015Schedule: 8-12 hour shifts, must be available to work 7 days out of the week if neededA Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of manual and equipment-assisted tasks to support terminal, vessel, and warehouse operations. Including but not limited to, loading, unloading, material handling, and basic maintenance. Ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Supports daily terminal, vessel, and warehouse operations
• Communicates with superintendents, foremen, and management to determine staffing needs and prioritize workflow
• Operate and maintain equipment for safe transfer of materials between silos, railcars, barges, and vessels
• Supports communication between drivers, warehouse teams, and management using radio and digital systems
• Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), PPE policies, and all safety and environmental regulations
• Perform maintenance, inspections, and additional operational duties as assigned to support terminal and vessel efficiency
