Job summary

Watco in Houston, TX is seeking a Laborer to support terminal, vessel and warehouse operations. Starting pay is $17 per hour, with 8- to 12-hour shifts and availability to work 7 days a week if needed.

The role includes loading, unloading, material handling and basic maintenance while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will operate equipment for the safe transfer of materials between silos, railcars, barges, and vessels, follow SOPs and PPE policies, and communicate with supervisors

Qualifications

• Teamwork and dependability are essential.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English, and basic math.
• Flexible schedule including days/nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18+ with HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily terminal, vessel, and warehouse operations.
• Operates and maintains equipment for safe transfer of materials.
• Communicates with superintendents, foremen, and management to plan workflow.
• Adheres to SOPs, PPE, and safety regulations.
• Perfoms maintenance and inspections to support efficiency.
