Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Bulk Gas Equipment Engineer to own and optimize the specialty and bulk gas supply systems critical for fab operations. You will coordinate startup of new equipment, work with operations and vendors, and drive safety and reliability of gas systems.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical/Chemical engineering and 3+ years of related experience, with strong data analysis and collaboration across Samsung facilities and construction teams.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years of direct operations or maintenance experience with gas/chemical supply systems or fab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve bulk gas supply systems, ensuring safety, quality and reliability.
• Coordinate startup and commissioning of new equipment; support infra planning and schedule forecasting.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce cost and improve safety and productivity.
• Develop standardization across equipment fleet and optimize preventative maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate with bulk gas vendors and Fab Engineering groups for issue resolution and improvements.
