Job summary

Matheson Tri-Gas is seeking a Bulk Distribution Terminal Manager in Texas to oversee regional distribution of cryogenic products. The role emphasizes safety, cost efficiency, and customer-focused service while directing drivers and maintenance personnel.

Responsibilities include safety program leadership, regulatory compliance (DOT/OSHA/ hazmat), and collaboration with sales and production to meet schedules and budgets. Strong coaching skills and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

College degree preferred for management of regional distribution.
Cryogenic distribution experience is a plus.
5–10 years transportation experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

Drive safety through regional safety programs and initiatives.
Conduct accident and injury investigations.
Train and provide qualified drivers and resources to meet daily schedule requirements.
Manage hours of service for all drivers and ensure DOT compliance.
Improve profitability by reducing cost to deliver.
Oversee maintenance programs for distribution vehicles and equipment.
Monitor costs to maintain operation within budget.
Oversee payroll and customer billing.
Support area sales and production efforts.
Coach and develop regional staff.
Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA and hazmat regulations.
