American Welding & Gas, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Bulk Cryogenic Distribution Manager to lead our Beaumont-area operations.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on route planning, CDL driver management, safety, and compliance to keep deliveries moving safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation, dispatch, and regulated bulk operations, with a track record of improving on-time performance and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of transportation, dispatch, logistics, or fleet-management experience.
• Experience supervising CDL drivers in bulk hauling or hazmat operations.
• Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, HOS, ELD, and hazmat requirements.
• Strong route planning and scheduling skills.
• Ability to manage urgent operational issues in a 24/7 environment.
• Proficient in transportation-management and telematics systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize daily and weekly delivery routes.
• Assign loads and routes to CDL drivers and communicate schedules.
• Monitor deliveries and respond to delays or issues.
• Coordinate with production plants, terminals, maintenance, customer service, and sales.
• Monitor tank telemetry and inventory to prevent runouts.
• Coordinate emergency and after-hours deliveries.
• Improve route density and on-time delivery performance.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate CDL drivers.
• Lead daily dispatch meetings and communicate safety priorities.
• Monitor attendance and compliance.
• Driver onboarding and recurrent training.
• Manage vacation, overtime, and shift coverage.
• Investigate service failures and incidents.
• Partner with HR on coaching and corrective action.
• Build a culture of safety and exceptional customer service.
