Job summary

Premium Distributors of Virginia is seeking a full-time merchandiser to stock, rotate, and display products at grocery stores along assigned routes in the Alexandria, VA area. The role starts at $19.50 per hour with overtime, plus a monthly car allowance and mileage reimbursement.

The position requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly (up to 170 lb for keg handling). Weekend shifts are required, with a 6:00 AM start.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ or meet state age requirements.
• Requires reliable personal automobile transportation and valid driver's license.
• Must maintain driving record and auto insurance meeting company/state minimums.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 170 lbs for keg products or equipment.
• 0 to 6 months or more of general work experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets to stock, display, and rotate products on assigned routes.
• Transport products between backroom and display floor using pallet jack or hand truck.
• Use company devices and systems for routing, compliance, and account monitoring.
• Complete merchandising checkouts and upload photos documenting execution in accounts.
• Maintain and organize backstock areas to support inventory levels and freshness.
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along assigned routes
• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck
• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring
• Accurately utilize company systems to complete merchandising checkouts, upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts
• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license. Auto insurance coverage must meet minimum amounts specified by the company and state law.
• Must be able to lift, push & pull products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds when handling keg products or operating pallet jacks and loading tools
• 0 to 6 months plus of general work experience
