Job summary

Premium Distributors of Virginia is seeking a full-time Merchandiser to travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets on assigned routes. The role starts at 6:00 AM, five days a week with weekends required, and includes a monthly car allowance and mileage reimbursement.

You will stock, rotate, and display products, transport via pallet jack/hand truck, and document execution using company systems. Requires 18+ and reliable transportation; benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k match.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver license.
• Experience in store merchandising and route travel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets to stock, display, and rotate products on routes.
• Transport products using pallet jack or hand truck between backroom and display.
• Use company systems for routing, efficiency, and account monitoring.
• Complete merchandising checkouts and upload photos documenting execution.
• Maintain backstock areas and support inventory levels and freshness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Company: Premium Distributors of Virginia
• Route: Alexandria, VA
• REQUIRED: MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER
• Requirements: Valid driver e2 e2 b9s license & reliable transportation
• Shift: 5 days/week, weekends required, 6:00 AM start (Full-Time only)
• Pay: $19.50/hr starting + overtime + monthly car allowance & mileage reimbursement

Position Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along assigned routes
• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck
• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring
• Accurately utilize company systems to complete merchandising checkouts, upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts
• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver e2 e2 b9s license. Auto insurance coverage must meet minimum amounts specified by the company and state law.
• Must be able to lift, push & pull products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds when handling keg products or operating pallet jacks and loading tools
• 0 to 6 months plus of general work experience
