Summary:

The Building Technician II will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including preventive repairs to plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, building automation, and controls. Responsibilities include documenting daily work and assisting other department staff with various duties.

Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Technical or college education may substitute for experience.
  • Knowledge of general commercial/industrial maintenance, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and computers is required.
  • Troubleshooting skills in electrical and HVAC systems, along with knowledge of Building Automation Systems, are a plus.
Certification/Licensure:
  • Type I or II EPA certifications are preferred.
