Job description

Your Impact:

Pearce is seeking a Wind Cleaning Service Technician II, with a commitment to excellence, strong desire to succeed and learn new skills utilizing established procedures, with the highest regard for health, safety, and environmental compliance. As a Field Service Cleaning Wind Technician II, you will carry out daily tasks such as cleaning, organizing equipment and facilities. This position is 100% travel.

Core Responsibilities

  • Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work area including sweeping, mopping, wiping oil, grease, solvent spills.
  • Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements.
  • Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as required to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures.
  • Perform other daily work requirements as directed by supervisor with general supervision.

Core Experience

  • 2 years of experience in Cleaning Wind Service required.
  • GWO certified (preferred)
  • Work within confined space areas, such as inside a wind turbine nacelle.
  • Basic Knowledge of various hand and power tools.
  • Work meets customer and company standards required of position and job, including following project schedules.

At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA/DOT Standards.

  • Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet.
  • Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance.
  • Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds).
  • Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grasses.
