Job summary

MSC is seeking a facilities maintenance leader to own and optimize maintenance operations across a warehouse setting in Georgia. You will lead a high-performing team, design preventive programs for equipment, and supervise custodial and safety procedures to ensure peak performance of critical assets.

The role requires HVAC knowledge, OSHA familiarity, and the ability to communicate technical guidance clearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Deep knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including motors, starters, and switch gears.
• HVAC knowledge and OSHA regulations familiarity.
• Clear verbal and written communication; ability to convey technical guidance to the team.
• Flexibility to support a variable schedule and on-call needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate facility maintenance activities, from structural repairs to equipment upkeep.
• Design, launch, and manage preventive maintenance programs for equipment.
• Direct custodial operations to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment.
• Manage spare parts inventories to reduce downtime and keep critical assets available.
• Advance safe work practices and verify climate control performance.
• Collaborate via cross-functional teams and build relationships across departments.
• Maintain hazardous materials logs and validate evacuation procedures.
• Drive a Safety Culture and MSC Culture, including performance reviews and associate development.
• Contribute to annual operating and capital budgeting for facility equipment.
• Perform hands-on pest removal and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting when needed.
• Adapt to business demands and support special projects.
