Job summary

Georg-Fischer is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee all plant maintenance activities, including production equipment and building systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring a safe, efficient operation.

You will troubleshoot faults, maintain records, and coordinate with internal customers while supporting safety and 6S standards across the facility.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years in a maintenance role with hands-on hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanical work.
  • Strong ability to read blueprints, ladder diagrams and schematics.
  • Familiarity with safety standards (Arc Flash, Lockout/Tagout, NEC) and ISO/OSHA certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily maintenance tasks and schedule repairs to keep equipment in good working order.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Monitor critical components and inventory in ERP to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules and company policies.
  • Support on-call duties and overtime as required to support plant operations.

Job Summary:Responsible for all plant maintenance functions including, production equipment, building systems (HVAC, etc.), andgrounds to support world-class plant operations. Is responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment issuesrelated to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
