Job summary

Webco-Industries is seeking a Maintenance Shift Business Manager to lead skilled maintenance teams on the D-Shift (6PM–6AM, Wed–Fri and alternating Saturdays). You will drive reliability, safety, and continuous improvement while coordinating with operations to meet production goals.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and control systems, and experience with CMMS.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in maintenance or skilled trades in manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience (supervisor, lead, or similar).
  • Hands-on troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians for reliability and safety.
  • Drive equipment reliability by prioritizing maintenance work.
  • Minimize downtime through fast diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, and controls issues.
  • Partner with operations and engineering to align maintenance with production goals.
  • Champion safety and regulatory compliance across the shift.
  • Monitor uptime, work orders, and safety KPIs; drive improvements.
  • Identify systemic issues and contribute to long-term reliability initiatives.
  • Coach and mentor staff to build technical capability and engagement.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost plant-wide efficiency.
