Job summary

Lincoln Property Company in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Building Engineer I to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to tenant requests, and ensure safe operation under supervision.

You will coordinate with senior engineers, keep documentation, assist with preventive maintenance, and participate in on‑call rotations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience.
• Engineering and trade licenses required per local, state, or national requirements.
• CFC Certification preferred.
• Developing familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; gaining experience with BAS operation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems.
• Address service requests, including hot/cold calls, plumbing issues, and lighting repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and elevate issues as needed.
• Replace light fixtures, filters, and other components as required.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and equipment performance.
• Conduct property inspections to identify deficiencies; assist with preventive maintenance tasks and contractor oversight.
