Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of job-related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience.
• Engineering and trade licenses required per local, state, or national requirements.
• CFC Certification preferred.
• Developing familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; BAS operation and troubleshooting.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and laptop/phone applications for work order systems, email, and training platforms.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds; physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems.
• Address service requests, including hot/cold calls, plumbing issues, and lighting repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and elevate issues as needed.
• Replace light fixtures, filters, and other components as required.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and equipment performance.
• Conduct property inspections to identify deficiencies and assist with preventive maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols, use PPE, and ensure OSHA/NFPA compliance; report hazards.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies; support recovery during weather events.
• Interact with tenants, contractors, and property managers; work with senior engineers.
• Develop technical skills through collaboration and professional development programs.
