Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Building Engineer I in Charlotte, NC, responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. The role requires ensuring safe operations while guiding junior technicians.

The ideal candidate will have at least a HS Diploma, a few years of relevant experience, and strong customer service skills. This position is 100% in-office with no remote work options, and benefits include medical and dental insurance, a 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of job-related experience or equivalent certification.
• CFC Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to communicate effectively with tenants and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and inspections of building systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Interact with tenants and support smooth building operations.

Skills

Basic working knowledge of laptop and phone applications

Customer service skills

Ability to read blueprints
