State of New Hampshire, Department of Administrative Services, Division of Plant and Property, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair building systems in state facilities. The role requires hands-on expertise with HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems, and includes supervisory duties for junior staff.

Responsibilities include operating energy management controls, responding to service calls, and documenting maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Equivalently combine education and experience after high school to total 5.5 years.
• Experience in operating and maintaining building mechanical/electrical systems strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Install, repair and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and ventilation systems.
• Adjust and calibrate controls and motors for efficiency.
• Maintain energy management data panels and monitor costs.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with contractors as needed.
• Maintain records of maintenance logs and job costs for budgeting.
