Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking an Area Services Operations Manager in Portland, OR to lead a service operations organization across the Oregon branch. You will drive profitable growth, operational excellence, and superior customer outcomes, ensuring service delivery aligns with company standards.

Responsibilities include end-to-end service execution, workforce planning, collaboration with PMO and Operations Excellence, and margin optimization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading field-based service teams in commercial buildings systems
• Financial acumen with responsibility for service revenue, margin, cost control and cash flow
• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time
• High School diploma or GED and a valid driver's license
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Drive service and operational growth by meeting or exceeding quarterly/annual service revenue, gross margin, and operating margin commitments
• Lead end-to-end service execution, including project services and Service Agreements, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, cost, and quality
• Plan, direct, and oversee service operations to support sustainable growth and long-term customer retention
• Monitor service and project performance to control costs, manage risk, and improve margin performance
• Partner with central Operations teams to leverage standard tools, best practices, and shared capabilities
• Provide operational and technical support to Sales teams, including pricing guidance, scope definition, renewals, and lifecycle service strategy
• Lead workforce planning by hiring, developing, allocating, and performance-managing service resources
• Ensure balance sheet, cash flow, and working capital performance align with company expectations
• Maintain alignment with Area General Management on service strategy and market growth initiatives
