Job summary

JLL in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a skilled facilities technician to oversee the operation, repair, preventive maintenance and installation of piping and valves for building steam and water systems. You will troubleshoot, monitor equipment, coordinate with client representatives, and prioritize work orders to keep critical systems running smoothly.

This on-site position emphasizes safety, timely communication, and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities

Oversee operation, repair, PM and install new piping and valves related to building steam and water piping/plumbing systems.
Understand engineering design and operational aspects of building and critical support systems; troubleshoot and respond to operational emergencies.
Monitor operation and maintains heating and cooling valves, water cooling equipment, boilers, pumps, valves, piping and filters.
Review logs to ensure proper operation; report problems/malfunctions as needed.
Check malfunctioning equipment and determine corrective actions to restore operation.
Communicate with work order requestors.
Coordinate with client representatives to align work with operational windows.
Prioritize PMs, corrective and emergent work orders for the site; schedule and assign work.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Comply with policy for storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
Complete all assigned JLL and client training and meet training standards.
Review and submit purchase requisitions for the facility.
Performs any other tasks as assigned.
