Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Operating Engineer to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for assigned properties. Responsibilities include rounds, preventive maintenance, and housekeeping to maintain clean, safe, and functional facilities.

Essential tasks include servicing HVAC, boilers, pumps, chillers, and energy management systems; responding to emergencies; and complying with safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property.
• Valid trade license (Journeyman/Master Electrician etc.).
• Energy management systems knowledge and building systems expertise.
• Experience with HVAC, boilers, pumps, refrigerant systems and related equipment.
• Basic computing skills and ability to document activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, pumps, and air distribution systems.
• Respond to emergencies and report to supervisor.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company procedures.
