Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4–5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification preferred.
• Certifications/licenses as required by local/state jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire life safety, and control systems to keep facilities up to standards.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives for building operations.
• Maintain an energy management program to ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; keep the workplace clean and safe.
• Review building systems inspections (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure equipment operates within design capabilities.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to complete complex assignments and provide solutions; coach others and share knowledge.
