Johnson Controls is hiring to support facility access control and building systems monitoring. You will manage doors, credentials, cameras, alarms, and events while coordinating with security and facilities teams.

The role requires a high school diploma or technical certification, aptitude for complex systems, and flexible shifts including weekends. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Aptitude for learning and managing building technical systems.
• Must follow specific instructions and process documents accurately.
• Must possess excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must work varying shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be a team player in a diverse environment.
• Must manage multiple functions including cameras, phones, radios, and access points.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree or Technical School Certification.
• HVAC controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Control building access points and credentials.
• Open doors and gates using access control systems.
• Check out keys for contractors with proper credentialing.
• Assist customers and visitors with access needs.
• Document all access activity and arena events.
• Monitor the camera system and security systems.
• Operate BAS, HVAC, lighting, and related building systems.
• Interpret emails/calendars to support event management tasks.
• Respond to system alarms and emergencies.
• Coordinate with local authorities as needed.
