Job summary

Splendido is seeking a Building Services Technician to keep our community buildings, systems, and grounds safe, functional, and well maintained. This hands-on role covers preventative maintenance and timely repairs to support a welcoming environment for residents and team members.

Qualifications

5+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in Senior Living.
Working knowledge of plumbing, refrigeration, and electrical systems; knowledge of HVAC systems a plus.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Internet, and Outlook.
Ability to learn work order system.

Responsibilities

Timely completion of routine repairs, maintenance requests, and work orders throughout the community.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
Paint common areas and turnover apartments to maintain appearance.
Assist with maintenance of fire, life safety systems and respond to emergencies per policy.
Seasonal exterior maintenance including grounds clean-up, snow removal and lighting maintenance.
Assist in unlocks, room set-ups/tear downs, and package deliveries.
Monitor the community to ensure safety and security of residents, guests, and staff.
Respond to emergencies and participate in QA/Process Improvement initiatives.
