Job Description

Fully trained in all aspects of general cleaning, this position performs carpet shampooing, hard floor maintenance, recycling, lavatory cleaning, office cleaning, and routine cleaning procedures. The employee oversees a 24/7 building operation, directs staff, assigns work to foremen, schedules project and routine work, and serves as key contact for the building manager to prepare the building for functions and special events. The role includes training new employees, inspecting buildings, reviewing equipment, maintaining stock levels, handling customer interactions, and coordinating with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, assign, and reinspect building conditions, setups, and quality of work.
• Assign work to Building Services Foreman and oversee progress.
• Train new employees to ensure world‑class service and conditions.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working order.
• Maintain adequate stock levels for use.
• Interact with customers regarding building needs.
• Communicate with food vendor ARAmark regarding service needs.
• Maintain daily reports, building inspections, safety inspections, employee evaluations, training, equipment demonstrations, supply ordering, and emergency needs.
