Job summary

The Apartment Building Porter in Seattle keeps lobbies and all common areas clean and welcoming for residents, staff, and guests. You perform daily cleaning, assist with light maintenance, and promptly report issues to management.

This full-time role pays $22–$24 per hour and includes standard benefits after a waiting period. You will work with maintenance teams to ensure safety, cleanliness, and smooth building operations for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in custodial or porter roles is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior common areas (lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and more).
• Assist with light maintenance tasks and report larger issues to management.
• Support residents and staff with directions and inquiries.
• Set up and break down for events and maintenance projects.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
