The Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspections, & Enforcement is seeking qualified applicants for Architect/Engineer I/II (Engineer Reviewer I/II) in the Building Plan Review Division. This role evaluates construction plans for compliance with building codes, fire codes, accessibility, life safety, and county regulations.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and have 4 years of professional construction or related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field as required.
• Four years of professional construction/related experience.
• ICC certification within one year; PE or architect license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review architectural, building, fire protection, and life safety plans for code compliance.
• Read and evaluate plans, calculations, and drawings for permit readiness.
