Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspections, & Enforcement is seeking an Electrical Engineer Reviewer III to join the Building Plan Review Division in Largo, MD. This senior role analyzes electrical plans, schematics, and specifications for compliance with the National Electrical Code and local codes.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering and have several years of plans review experience; ICC electrical plan review certification is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and at least three years of professional plans review work.
• OR seven years of construction experience including three years of professional plans review.
• ICC electrical plan review certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews plans, documents, and projects for electrical safety compliance with NEC and county code subtitle 9.
• Reads, analyzes, and interprets engineering plans and test results to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
