Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Illinois is seeking a Full Time Sales Associate in Building Materials - Closing to welcome customers, help them find the right products, and ensure orders and deliveries are accurate.

You will interact with customers throughout the day, occasionally load merchandise, and support across departments to deliver great service. Training programs offer trade skills development and career growth.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
• Able to stand for long periods and lift at least 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and provide friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise and replenish shelves
• Process orders and deliveries accurately
• Cross-train in other store areas to enhance service
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
