Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Illinois. You will greet customers, help them find products, and ensure their needs are met throughout the shopping experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with merchandise locations, stocking, processing orders, and collaborating across departments to deliver excellent service. Prior retail/customer experience is helpful, and some lifting may be required.

Qualifications

• 6 Months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 Months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly and professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by checking shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to improve service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (paint, pipe, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
