Job summary

Kingspan Insulated Panels North America in Deland, FL seeks an Inside Sales Specialist in Building Materials/Manufacturing for an in-office role, Monday–Friday. You will handle incoming leads, price various panel types, and coordinate with sales and operations to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate has a 2-year sales track record, strong MS Office and Salesforce skills, and the ability to read structural drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 2 years of successful inside/outside sales experience in building materials/manufacturing or related field preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and a CRM tool such as Salesforce.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Ability to understand and interpret project specifications, addenda, special provisions, and all other applicable project documents.

Responsibilities

• Be the front line for all incoming leads within a specified customer segment.
• Serve as a primary customer contact throughout the sales process, proactively engaging prospects and customers to understand business needs, provide solutions, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Manage assigned customer accounts by building strong relationships, identifying sales opportunities, supporting retention efforts, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Use sales skills and training to uncover and develop customer needs and position targeted solutions to meet those needs.
• Provide ad hoc assistance to team members, including proposal/quote generation, delivery of promotional materials, customer follow-up, etc.
• Leverage Salesforce to streamline the sales process, including CRM systems, presentation tools, and communication platforms.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new prospects, including company gatekeepers.
• Provide accurate pricing for various panel/product types promptly.
• Assist customers as necessary regarding the application and selection of Kingspan’s product offerings aligned with meeting our customers’ specific needs.
• Coordinate quoting efforts and strategies with sales reps as required.
• Serves as the customer's advocate by solving problems on the customer's behalf and by engaging the right department and people internally.
• Track and report on department key performance indicators.
• Follow the Group Code of Conduct and Group Compliance.
• Follow Compliance requirements per “KNA-SOP-1705 Compliance Roles and Responsibilities.”
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
