Job summary

Kingspan Insulated Panels North America is seeking a Divisional Project Engineer for our Deland, FL plant. This onsite role manages engineering projects from concept through commissioning, leading cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing lines and processes.

You will drive process improvements using Lean/Six Sigma and PM best practices, with responsibility for delivering design, testing, and implementation of projects across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's Degree required (engineering, operations management, or a related field).
• Proven experience in process improvement, business process reengineering, or operational and manufacturing excellence roles.
• Methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Agile.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven capabilities.
• Proficiency in process mapping and process documentation tools.
• Experience driving change management and continuous improvement culture.
• Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
• Significant experience in Mechanical / Mechatronics engineering.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and generate 2D & 3D drawings.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and project management.

Responsibilities

• Project manage engineering initiatives from concept to commissioning and trials.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams across sites to deliver projects.
• Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives at insulated panel sites.
• Design and test project proposals and deliverables per Kingspan standards.
• Coordinate with internal/external customers and stakeholders.
• Attend training to enhance relevant skills and keep up with technology.
