in Streator, IL is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to assist customers and contractors with quotes, product information, and order processing in person or remotely, while upholding safety and service standards. You will input orders, manage pricing, support deliveries, build relationships with customers, learn estimating for projects, and collaborate with the Retail Manager to maintain showroom merchandise and accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customers and contractors.
• Ability to use POS systems, MS Word and Excel at an intermediate level.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries about products, quotes, prices, orders and deliveries.
• Code and input customer orders and pricing into the POS system; ensure accuracy.
• Operate and balance cash register; assist with returns and credits as needed.
• Assist customers with special-order products; support credit and collections as needed.
• Maintain inventory, displays, and pricing labels; ensure showroom appearance.
• Develop relationships with customers and contractors; support sales team with estimates.
