Responsibilities include handling inquiries, outbound calls to generate sales, order entry, pricing coordination, and maintaining stock. Strong communication and product knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in building material or inside sales preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with inventory and pricing processes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries on product selection, prices, orders, complaints, and deliveries.
• Initiate calls to customers to generate sales.
• Enter orders, returns, and service requests; file paperwork.
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products; check pricing and availability.
• Manage project schedules with outside sales, jobsites, and customers.
• Maintain stock levels on floor and in stockroom.
• Research credits, returns, and late payments as needed.
• Check back orders; resolve issues and assist with billing.
• Handle special orders and pricing; assist with price lists.
• Develop and grow relationships with customers.
• Resolve jobsite issues and customer problems.
