Job summary

SRS Building Products in Columbus, OH seeks a Non-CDL Driver to deliver building materials to job sites with a focus on safety and customer service. You will perform vehicle inspections, verify orders, and assist with warehouse tasks as needed, while maintaining strong communication with the team and adhering to all safety standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of driving experience, a valid non-CDL license, and a DOT medical card where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old. CDL not required, but non-CDL license with clean record preferred.
• Valid non-CDL driver’s license with a clean record; DOT medical card may be required for operations over 10,001 lbs.
• Minimum 1–2 years of professional driving experience.
• DOT Medical Certificate mandatory for heavy vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials safely and on time to job sites following route plans.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and log maintenance needs.
• Verify inventory and manage loading/unloading to ensure accurate deliveries.
• Operate forklift safely for loading and unloading when required.
• Interact professionally with customers on-site and address questions or concerns.
• Maintain consistent communication with managers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements at all times.
• Document delivery processes and capture delivery photos for records.
