Job description

Job Purpose:- The Building Manager PT - EM at CITY WIDE FACILITY SOLUTIONS is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of the facility. This role requires ensuring that the building's physical infrastructure is well-maintained, safe, and compliant with relevant regulations. The Building Manager will coordinate with various stakeholders to optimize building services and enhance the overall experience for occupants.Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day operations of the building, ensuring all services are delivered efficiently and effectively.- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and oversee the execution of repair work.- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the life of building assets.- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to contractual agreements.- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary.- Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets and monitor expenses related to building operations.- Respond promptly to emergency situations and manage crisis response efforts to ensure occupant safety.- Maintain accurate records of building operations, including maintenance logs, vendor contracts, and compliance documentation.- Foster positive relationships with building occupants, addressing concerns and feedback to improve service delivery.Required Education:- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in facilities management or a related field is preferred.Required Experience:- Minimum of 3 years of experience in building management or a related field.- Proven track record of managing building operations, including maintenance, safety, and security.- Experience in coordinating with vendors and service providers for building maintenance and repairs.Required Skills and Abilities:- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with tenants, staff, and service providers.- Ability to analyze and solve problems related to building operations and maintenance.- Proficiency in using facility management software and tools.- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in building management.- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
