Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Software Engineer Analyst in Boise, Idaho to perform Master Systems Integration of building management systems, build control databases, create user interfaces, and set up control systems based on project specifications and proposals.

The role includes on-site and remote technical support, field startup and commissioning tasks, and remote software installation for large enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HVAC, electrical, mechanical or software.
• Knowledge of procedures and standards to solve moderately complex problems.
• Ability to analyze solutions using technical judgment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
• Program control applications with various software tools.
• Site checkout, commissioning and testing of control applications.
• Verify operation per project specs and design docs.
• Develop system graphics displays per specs or proposals.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot escalated problems and take action.
• Document resolutions and report findings to the project team.
• Support software tools management and lead by example with CBRE RISE values.
• Work within standardized procedures to meet deadlines.
