Job summary

CBRE GWS is seeking a Software Engineer Analyst to perform master systems integration of building management systems (BMS), develop control databases, and create user interfaces per project specifications. The role includes on-site and remote support, system commissioning, and software installation for global enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical or Software preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Travel requirement is up to 50% of your annual time.

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
• Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
• Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
• Confirm proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposal, and design documentation.
• Approve and develop system graphic displays, according to project specifications or sales proposal.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
• Perform multifaceted system evaluation and diagnostics.
• Isolate and troubleshoot escalated problems and take corrective action.
• Document problem resolution and report findings to Project team for customer follow-up.
• Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
