Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an ES Systems Specialist to provide advanced support for building systems. The role involves programming control applications, on-site commissioning, and remote technical support to installers and customers.

You will document resolutions, communicate with customers, and ensure problems are resolved per project specs and design documentation. Strong Office skills and hands-on experience with control systems are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
• Broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operation, panel layouts, etc.
• Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
• Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications; confirm operation according to project specs.
• Approve and develop system graphic displays, according to project specifications or sales proposal.
• Provide on-site and remote expert technical support to installers and customers.
• Document problem resolution and report findings back to Sr. Manager for customer follow-up.
