Job summary

Fort Bend County is seeking a Facilities Maintenance worker to assist with general repairs within the facility including basic electrical, plumbing, preventative maintenance, assembling and moving furniture as needed. Repairs HVAC and electrical equipment as required. Makes necessary repairs to building facilities.

Installs and repairs electrical wiring as needed. Maintains routine check on general conditions of all buildings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• 3 years job related experience.
• Basic working knowledge of plumbing and carpentry; specific knowledge of commercial electrical and HVAC systems.
• License preferred.
