Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform maintenance work in stores and collaborate with store management to implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintain and operate company-owned equipment safely, including tools, systems, and vehicles.
• Receive, prioritize, and follow up on work orders.
• Handle emergency repairs immediately to prevent property damage and injuries.
• Work with local contractors on major repair projects and maintenance programs.
• Coordinate procedures for rapid response to emergency building/system failures to minimize store disruption.
• Recommend and assist with capital improvement projects to maintain efficient operations.
• Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
• Conduct store visits to ensure maintenance standards are followed.
• Educate store managers on planned maintenance benefits for profitability.
• Participate in surveys for new and remodel projects.
• Complete assigned projects according to standards for quality, time, and cost.
• Inspect projects regularly to ensure compliance and take corrective actions.
• Provide maintenance expertise and quick response support in emergencies and compliance situations.
• Evaluate and recommend best practices and process improvements.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualification Requirements

High school diploma or GED plus five years' experience in building systems maintenance and construction trades. Computer skills required, including Microsoft Outlook, Service Now Call Tracking, and basic iPhone/iPad operations.
